We are part of WEEEP (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment Partnership), which aims to give PC access to people in the community. Part of this project involves training people how to work and fix the PC's we donate. Advantages include helping people to train for further qualifications.

Remploy e-cycle business provides an efficient, ethical and environmentally sound way of refurbishing and re-cycling goods to extend the lifetime of business and household assets. Remploy take white goods from major high street retailers, testing and repairing to reduce the amount being land-filled and providing a source of low cost products to the secondary market. Apart from reducing waste and increasing the supply of affordable goods, e-cycle offers disadvantaged people training in specialist areas such as electronic and electrical engineering.

fridge-recycling.co.uk have fridge recycling / storage / bulking facilities around the country. They are part of European Metal Recycling (EMR).

Furniture Matters - a recycling charity based in Morecambe, serving the Morecambe, Lancaster and district. We collect furniture, white goods (mostly kitchen appliances such as cookers, fridges, washing machines etc), and bikes from domestic sources (residential), and sell at a low cost to local disadvantaged people. This means virtually anyone on benefits, or on a low income. White Goods are PAT tested to ensure they are safe to use, and we also do external PAT testing. Bicycles are renovated and sold at Pedal Power - our cycle recycling scheme in Lancaster, and we also running a bicycle courier service.
